Patriots Promote DT Woodrow Hamilton To Active Roster

According to Doug Kyed, the Patriots have promoted DT Woodrow Hamilton from their practice squad on Saturday.

Kyed mentions that the addition of Hamilton bolster’s their depth at defensive line, considering that DT Vincent Valentine has missed all this week’s practices with a back injury.

Hamilton, 23, signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi. He has yet to appear during an NFL game.

During his four-year college career, Hamilton recorded 84 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks, and one pass defense.
