Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Patriots have re-signed OL Brian Schwenke to a one-year, $895,000 extension through 2019.
Schwenke, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Titans back in 2013. Schwenke played out his four-year, $2,624,260 contract with the Titans before signing a one-year, $1.3 million contract with the Colts as an unrestricted free agent in 2017.
Unfortunately, the Colts released Schwenke at the start of last season and he later returned to the Titans and finished out the year in Tennessee. The Patriots signed him to a contract last summer and while he was released coming out of the preseason, they re-signed him a few days later.
In 2018, Schwenke appeared in three games for the Patriots.
