According to Ian Rapoport, the Patriots are bringing CB Michael Jackson back to the practice squad.
Rapoport adds Jackson was cut as he was dealing with a hamstring injury but he’s healthy now and ready to try and work his way into a role.
New England’s practice squad now includes:
- TE Rashod Berry
- DE Tashawn Bower
- TE Jake Burt
- LB Terez Hall
- DT Bill Murray
- K Justin Rohrwasser
- DB D’Angelo Ross
- WR Devin Ross
- DE Nick Thurman
- DT Xavier Williams
- WR Isaiah Zuber
- WR Mason Kinsey
- WR Kristian Wilkerson
- G Caleb Benenoch
- QB Jacob Dolegala
- CB Michael Jackson
Jackson, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2019. He signed a four-year, $2.8 million contract with Dallas, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Dallas re-signed Jackson to their practice squad before the Lions added him to their active roster in October.
He was traded from Detroit to New England for a conditional pick this summer before being waived.
In 2019, Jackson was active for one game, but did not record a statistic.
