Patriots Reportedly Have “Some Interest” In WR Mike Wallace

Armando Salguero reports that an agent has informed him that the New England Patriots have “some interest” in free agent WR Mike Wallace.

New England isn’t exactly known for making a big splash in free agency, but there’s no question that Wallace would give them the one dynamic that their offense has been missing since they traded Randy Moss a few years back.

Wallace is reportedly seeking a contract that would make him the third-highest paid receiver in the league, which figures to be enough to keep the Patriots out of the bidding for his services.

The Vikings and Dolphins are expected to be the top suitors for Wallace, but a recent report indicated that Minnesota may not have as much interest in him as was previously reportedly.

We have him listed as the No. 1 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
