The New England Patriots announced Monday that they’ve promoted LB Cassh Maluia and DL Nick Thurman to their active roster and signed C Marcus Martin.
Martin, 27, is a former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2014. After three seasons in San Francisco, the 49ers waived Martin and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Browns.
From there, Martin has played for a number of teams including the Cowboys and Rams before catching on with the Lions in September.
In 2020, Martin has been active for two games while with the Lions.
