The New England Patriots officially placed G Jason King on waivers Thursday.
King, 24, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue back in May. He was among the team’s final roster cuts and signed him to their practice squad once he cleared waivers.
New England eventually released him from their practice squad and signed to the Ravens’ practice squad in October. However, Baltimore decided to release him two weeks later and he eventually signed on to the Patriots’ practice squad in December.
King returned to New England on a futures contract this offseason.
King has yet to appear in an NFL game.
