The New England Patriots have placed WR Quincy Adeboyejo on waivers with an injury designation.
Should Adeboyejo clear waivers, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Adeboyejo, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason before being signed to the Ravens’ practice squad.
Adeboyejo was called up to the active roster late in the year, then re-signed in Baltimore in 2018 as an exclusive rights free agent. He was waived last year and later had a brief stint with the Jets before signing on with the Patriots.
During his college career at Ole Miss, Adeboyejo caught 106 passes for 1,454 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 38 games.
