The New England Patriots have waived WR Maurice Harris from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Tuesday, according to Field Yates.
Harris is expected to be recovered from his lower-body injury in a couple of weeks.
Harris, 26, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of California back in 2016. He has been on and off of the Redskins’ active roster the past few years, but managed to make the 53-man roster in 2018.
The Redskins declined to tender Harris a restricted offer this offseason and he signed with the Patriots as an unrestricted free agent. New England waived him with an injury designation on Sunday and he reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.
In 2018, Harris appeared in 12 games for the Redskins and caught 28 passes for 304 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also rushed for 10 yards and had 11 punt return yards.
