The Cleveland Browns have ruled out RB Peyton Hillis for Week 11’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and it’s only Monday, per Mary Kay Cabot.
Head coach Pat Shurmur mentioned that he “thinks” Hillis will play again this season but that certainly isn’t very convincing by any means. Hillis re-injured his hamstring a few weeks ago but the severity of the injury was known at the time. The fact that he’s been ruled out of the upcoming game each of the last two Monday’s is a good indication that he has a long way to go before returning. Unfortunately for Browns fans, it looks like there will be more of Chris Ogbonnaya as Montario Hardesty has yet to recover from a calf injury.
