Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Redskins WR Pierre Garcon could end up in the IR following Washington’s bye next week.
Garcon, a free agent pick up during the offseason, has been dealing with a tear in his foot for a good majority of the season and as a result has been held to just three appearances this year. The team is hoping that Garcon will recover with some simple rest, although that is looking like a long shot at this point.
If Garcon is still not healthy enough to return after the their Week 10 bye, there’s at least a change that the team will elect to shut him down and allow him to under surgery.
