Rahim Moore A Potential Free Agent Target For The Eagles?

Mike Klis of the Denver Post mentions that Broncos free agent S Rahim Moore could draw interest from the Philadelphia Eagles in the coming days.

  • Klis points out that the Eagles have hired former Broncos secondary coach Cory Undlin in the same capacity, so they will obviously have a good read on Moore as a player.
  • According to Klis, Moore could end up securing a contract that will pay him an annual salary of $5 million per year.

Yesterday, Adam Caplan of ESPN said that he could see Moore having a “solid market” once free agency is open for business.

Of course, the Eagles could have their sights set on Patriots free agent S Devin McCourty, who is widely considered to be one of the best available free agents.

Moore, 25, played out his four-year, $4,448,126 rookie contract with the Broncos that included $1,735,000 guaranteed, and is now in position to be an unrestricted free agent as of next week.

In 2014, Moore recorded 49 tackles, four interceptions, one forced fumble, a recovery, and five pass defenses over the course of 16 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 46 safety out of 87 qualifying players.

We have him currently listed as the No. 35 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.

  1. You have to go mccourtey especially with the 30 million in cap we will have. No excuse for prioritizing a guy like Moore over mccourtey.

  2. I hope we go for either McCourty and mid-level CB like Perrish Cox or Maxwell and Moore. In both cases we ought to move Boykin outside.
