Raiders Among Interested Teams In Trading For Jets WR Robby Anderson

Connor Hughes and Vic Tafur are reporting that the Raiders are among the interested teams in trading for Jets WR Robby Anderson

Hughes says the price will “needs to be right,” as the Jets have no plans to give Anderson away.

  • Yesterday, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reported that the Jets are looking to trade Anderson in order to add some more draft picks to work with next year.
  • Albert Breer mentioned that the receiver market is “pretty hot” right now with Anderson being among the available options.

The Jets were reportedly open to trading Anderson back in April, but they ultimately elected to hold on to him.

Anderson, 26, signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in 2016. He played out his three-year rookie contract and re-signed to a one-year, $3.095 million deal as a restricted free agent.

Anderson is in line to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career next year.

In 2019, Anderson has appeared in six games and recorded 17 receptions for 266 yards receiving (15.6 YPC) and one touchdown.

We’ll have more regarding Anderson as the news is available.
