Field Yates reports that the Raiders claimed OT David Sharpe off of waivers from the Texans.
However, Sharpe won’t be available for the Raiders for Thursday’s game against the 49ers and will instead join the team on Friday.
Sharpe, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason a few months ago and later signed on to the Texans’ practice squad after clearing waivers.
Houston later promoted Sharpe to their active roster before waiving him on Wednesday.
In 2018, Sharpe has appeared in two games for the Texans.
