The Oakland Raiders officially announced their 53-man roster Saturday. Here’s the list of players that were either waived or released:

- WR Kris Durham
- S Taylor Mays
- QB Christian Ponder
- DL C.J. Wilson
- OT Anthony Morris
The Raiders also placed S Brandian Ross on season-ending injured reserve.
Ponder, 27, hasn’t come anywhere the type of player the Vikings were hoping he could be when they used the No. 12 overall pick on him back in 2011.
The Raiders signed him to a one-year, $2.25 million contract that included a $1.5 million signing bonus back in March.
Last year, Ponder appeared in just two games and threw for 222 yards while completing 50 percent of his passes to go along with no touchdowns and two interceptions.
Mays, 27, appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and recorded nine tackles, a sack, and a safety. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing just 61 snaps last year.
