According to Michael Gehlken, the Raiders are placing TE Clive Walford on injured reserve due to a concussion and neck injury, and are promoting TE Pharaoh Brown from their practice squad in a corresponding roster move.
Walford, 26, is a former third-round pick out of Miami by the Raiders in the 2015 NFL Draft. He is in the third year of a four-year, $3.345 million rookie contract and is set to earn a base salary of $710,646 this year to go along with another $822,800 in 2018.
In 2017, Walford has appeared in 13 games for the Raiders and recorded nine receptions for 80 yards receiving and no touchdown.
