The Las Vegas Raiders announced Tuesday that they’ve signed 11 players to futures contracts for the 2021 season.
The full list includes:
- TE Nick Bowers
- K Dominik Eberle
- DB Rashaan Gaulden
- DE Gerri Green
- OL Jaryd Jones-Smith
- OL Erik Magnuson
- LB James Onwualu
- DT Niles Scott
- OT Kamaal Seymour
- CB Kemah Siverand
- LB Javin White
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Gaulden, 25, was drafted in the third round by the Panthers out of Tennessee in 2018. He was in the second year of a four-year, $3.44 million deal and was set to make a base salary of $595,250 for the 2019 season when the Panthers waived him.
Gaulden later signed on to the Giants’ practice squad and was eventually promoted to their active roster late last season. New York eventually waived Gaulden prior to the start of the 2020 season and he eventually signed on to the Raiders’ practice squad in November.
In 2019, Gaulden appeared in nine games for the Panthers and one game for the Giants, recorded three total tackles.
