The Oakland Raiders officially signed G Ian Silberman to their practice squad on Friday and placed OT Takoby Cofield on the practice squad injured list.
The Raiders’ practice squad now consists of:
- DE James Cowser
- WR K.J. Brent
- CB Kenneth Durden
- DL Branden Jackson
- WR Jaydon Mickens
- G Oni Omoile
- G Ian Silberman
- DE Jimmy Bean
- LB Tyrell Adams
- TE Cooper Helfet
- OT Takoby Cofield (Injured)
Silberman, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the 49ers back in May of last year. He was unfortunately among the 49ers’ roster cuts coming out of the preseason a few weeks ago.
The Patriots signed Silberman to a contract a few weeks into the season before cutting him loose earlier in the week.
In 2015, Silberman was active for a single game.
