Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders are signing former Broncos LB Brandon Marshall to a one-year contract worth up to $4.1 million.
Marshall was reportedly drawing interest from the Cardinals as well, but it sounds like the Raiders were able to get a deal done during his visit on Thursday.
Marshall, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2012. However, he lasted just over a year in Jacksonville before he was waived at the start of the 2013 season and later signed to the Broncos practice squad.
Denver brought Marshall back for the 2016 season on a one-year, restricted tender worth $2.553 million before eventually agreeing to a five-year, $34.553 million contract that includes $20 million guaranteed.
Marshall was set to make a base salary of $6.5 million for the 2019 season when the Broncos declined his option.
In 2018, Marshall appeared in 11 games for the Broncos and recorded 42 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
