Free agent LB Darnell Sankey announced on Twitter that he is signing a contract with the Raiders.

Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle writes that Sankey will be added to the Raiders’ practice squad and that the move is currently pending.
Sankey originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Sacramento State. Unfortunately, Denver chose to waive him as they trimmed down to 75 players.
During his four-year college career, Sankey recorded 330 tackles, 12.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, two recoveries an interception and nine pass defenses.ย Sankey earned FCS All-America honors during his senior season atย Sacramento State.
