Raiders Signing OL Oday Aboushi

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Raiders are signing OL Oday Aboushi to a contract on Saturday.

Garafolo notes that Raiders OL coach Tom Cable worked with Aboushi while they were together in Seattle.

Aboushi, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jets back in 2013. He spent two years in New York before he was cut loose and later claimed of off waivers by the Texans a few weeks into the 2015 season.

Aboushi played out the final year of his four-year, $2.359 million rookie contract before signing a one-year, $975,000 deal with the Seahawks as a free agent last year. Unfortunately, his season ended after he was placed on injured reserve in December.

In 2017, Aboushi appeared in eight games for the Seahawks and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 60 guard out of 76 qualifying players.
