Raiders To Incorporate QB Terrelle Pryor As Package Player

Steve Corkran of the Oakland Tribune reports that Raiders HC Dennis Allen will be looking to give playing time to QB Terrelle Pryor and various others on the team 53 man roster.

With theĀ  playoffs out of reach, the team will look to see what it has in its backups. In Pryor’s case the offensive coordinator installed a package of plays weeks ago for Pryor to run, but the proper situation has yet to present itself. Ā HC Dennis Allen was quick to clarify that the starting line up will not change and the time given to backups will depend on the flow of the game.

Drafted in the 3rd round of theĀ  supplemental draft in 2011, Pryor has played one snap in 29Ā  games in his NFL career and is not considered a threat to Carson Palmer’s job.
