Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders are working out free agent TE Erik Swoope on Tuesday.
According to Rapoport, Swoope recently worked out for the Redskins and Buccaneers and should be signed to a contract at some point in the near future.
Swoope, 27, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of 2014. He was on and off of the Colts’ practice squad for the early part of his career before he made the 53-man roster last season.
The Colts brought Swoope back on an exclusive rights contracts for the 2017 and 2018 season. He had a brief stint with the Saints last year before returning to the Colts.
In 2018, Swoope has appeared in seven games for the Colts and caught eight passes for 87 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
