The Los Angeles Rams have begun the process of trimming their roster down to 75 players. Here’s the full list of roster cuts up to this point:

- TE Jake Stoneburner
- OL Jordan Swindle
- QB Dylan Thompson
Other roster moves include:
- RT Rob Havenstein (Activated from PUP)
Coples, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Jets back in 2012. However, he lasted just three years in New York before he was waived and later claimed by the Dolphins back in November.
The Jets elected to pick up Coples’ fifth-year option back in April, but this figure was guaranteed for injury only, so the Dolphins were able to release him in a move that freed up $7.751 million in available cap space without any issue.
The Rams later signed him to a contract in March.
In 2015, Coples appeared in 16 games and recorded eight tackles, no sacks, and a fumble recovery for the Jets and Dolphins. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 66 edge rusher out of 110 qualifying players.
