Rams Looking For An OT In The Draft?

Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch takes a look at the impact that Jeff Fisher may have on the teams offense in the coming years.

One point of emphasis could be and probably should be the teams offensive line. Last year the Rams led the NFL in sacks allowed and actually had the third-most over Steve Spagnuolo‘s tenure in St Louis.

Miklasz adds that QB Sam Bradford has actually under duress on 35% of passing plays.

Fisher mentioned that improving pass protection will be a top priority for the team which is why you would have to think that the Rams will consider drafting a guy like USC”s Matt Kalil with the second overall pick.

Yesterday we mentioned that Jason Smith could be let go which not only saves the team some money but would allow them to draft an adequate replacement. We actually have the Rams taking Kalil in our most recent Mock Draft.
