This is probably isn’t surprising but Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com reports that Rams WR Danny Amendola is out for the season with a torn triceps muscle.
Amendola got a second opinion on Wednesday but it unfortunately confirmed the muscle tear. As of now it’s not known whether or not he’ll need surgery but it seems like a strong possibility at this point.
St Louis will has been using Austin Pettis as their slot receiver for the time being but he’s only managed to catch six balls for 40 yards. The Rams offense is in really bad shape and it’s hard to imagine that things will get better in the near future as their next three games are against the Packers, Cowboys and Saints.
