Rams Fire OC Frank Cignetti, Replace Him With Rob Boras

The St. Louis Rams announced Monday that they’ve have relieved offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti of his duties, per Myles Simmons.

Assistant head coach/offense Rob Boras will take over as the team’s offensive coordinator and call plays moving forward.

Rams HC Jeff Fisher said of the move: “We thank Frank for his hard work and dedication over the last four years. We wish him the best moving forward.

The Rams had to do something to change up their offensive attack. St. Louis currently ranks No. 31 in total yards, No. 32 in passing yards, and No. 31 overall in points scored.

Boras last held an offensive coordinator position back in 2003 when he was a part of UNLV’s coaching staff.
