The Rams actually worked Miller out back in January, but didn’t sign him to a contract after the session.
Miller, 28, wound up going undrafted out of Southern Utah back in 2014. He took part in rookie minicamps with the Colts and Raiders.
The 49ers later signed Miller to a futures contract a few years ago, but cut him loose shortly after the 2017 draft. Miller eventually signed on to the Giants’ practice squad in December of last year and was on and off of the unit over the next few weeks.
During his college career at Southern Utah, Miller totaled 7,055 punt yards on 164 attempts (43.02 YPA). He also kicked field goals for Southern Utah during his freshman year and was 12 of 17 and made 27 of 28 extra-point tries.
