The Los Angeles Rams have placed WR Aaron Lacombe on waivers Monday and signed WR Kendal Thompson to a contract.
Thompson, 26, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in 2016. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Redskins waived him at the start of the 2016 season.
Washington later added Thompson to their practice squad and brought him back on a futures contract last January. However, he was waived from injured reserve with a settlement during the preseason and sat out the 2017 season.
During his college career at Utah and Oklahoma, Thompson played quarterback. He threw for 608 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions to go along with 267 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
