The Los Angeles Rams officially placed DB Ishmael Adams and G Alex Kozan on waivers with non-football injury designations.
Adams, 24, signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA. He entered as a defensive back and return specialist but was converted to wide receiver for his final season of college eligibility.
During his five-year college career, Adams recordedย 138 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 of a sack, eight interceptions, 12 pass defenses, and scored three defensive touchdowns. As a receiver, he brought inย 20 receptions for 178 yards (8.9 YPC), while also having eight rushing attempts for 32 rushing yards (4.0 YC). He also finished withย 75 kickoff returns for 1,815 yards (24.2 YPR) and one touchdown and 43 punt returns for 323 yards (7.5 YPR).
Kozan, 23, signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn.
In 2016, Kozan earned first-team All-SEC honors by the AP, second-team All-SEC honors from coaches, and All-America second team honors from the Sporting News.
