Rams Waive DT Tyrell Thompson

The Los Angeles Rams officially placed DT Tyrell Thompson on waivers with an injury waiver on Friday.

Thompson wound up going undrafted out of Tarleton State back in May. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Rams.

During his two years at Tarleton State, Thompson recorded 103 tackles, 8.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and three pass defenses over the course of 24 games.
