The Los Angeles Rams announced that they’ve officially placed TE Johnny Mundt on waivers Tuesday.
Mundt, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Rams cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
Los Angeles promoted him to their active roster a few weeks ago.
In 2017, Mundt has been active for two games but has yet to record a statistic.
