The St. Louis Rams waived TE Justice Cunningham on Saturday, according to the NFL transactions release.
This move creates a roster spot for K Zach Hocker, who was signed in case Greg Zurelein is unable to play tomorrow.
Cunningham, 24, is a former seventh round pick of the Colts back in 2013. He lasted lelss than one year in Indianapolis before he was waived and later signed to the Raams’ practice squad. Since then, he’s been on and off of their active roster.
This season, Cunningham has appeared in two games, but has yet to record a single statistic.
