Ian Rapoport reports that the Rams are bringing in free agent CBย Leodis McKelvin for a workout and visit over the next two days.
McKelvin worked out for the Saints last week, so it appears as though his market is starting to pick up.
McKelvin, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Bills back in 2008. After eight years in Buffalo, the Eagles signed him to a two-year, $6.2 million contract that included $3 million guaranteed last year.
However, Philadelphia released him this past February in a move that freed up $3.2 millionย of available cap space.
In 2016, McKelvin appeared in 13 games for the Eagles and recorded 43 tackles, two interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown and 15 pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 71 cornerback out of 112 qualifying players.
We have him featured in ourย Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
