Rams WR Cooper Kupp Could Miss Time With MCL Sprain

Adam Schefter reports that Rams WR Cooper Kupp suffered an MCL sprain and team believe he “could miss some time, but not sure yet.”

Kupp was carted off with a knee injury during the second quarter of Sunday’s against the Broncos, but later returned to the game.

Kupp was actually horse-collar tackled by Broncos S Darian Stewart and his knee, unfortunately, twisted underneath him.

Kupp, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Rams back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.83 million contract and set to make base salaries of $640,046 and $811,118 over the next two years of the agreement.

Entering today’s game, Kupp had appeared in five games for the Rams and caught 30 passes for 438 yards receiving and five touchdowns. He has also rushed for 13 yards on three carries.

We’ll have more regarding Kupp as the news is available.
