Report: Ravens Re-Sign WR Brandon Stokley

Update:

Jason La Confora of CBS Sports reports that the Ravens are re-signing WR Brandon Stokley after releasing him this past weekend.

While he’s back in the mix for now, it’s hard to say if he will be able to hang around for the remainder of the season.

The Baltimore Ravens announced that they’ve released veteran WR Brandon Stokley and re-signed TE Billy Bajema.

And so ends Stokely’s second stint with the team that originally drafted him back in 1999. Stokely caught nine receptions for 79 yards in three games this season, despite dealing with a groin injury.

This looks to be a positive sign regarding Jacoby Jones status, and the return Deonte Thompson most likely left Stokely expandable. Because Stokely is a vested veteran, his salary of $940,000 is guaranteed.

The Ravens didn’t waste any time bring back TE Billy Bajema who was released earlier this week to make room for newly acquired LT Eugene Monroe.
