According to Field Yates, the Ravens will exercise the fifth-year option on OT Ronnie Stanley.
Stanley has become a mainstay on the Ravens offensive line since being drafted in 2016, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Stanley’s fifth-year option is worth $12.866 million and becomes fully guaranteed at the start of the 2020 league year.
It’s worth mentioning the fifth-year option is guaranteed for injury only and won’t prevent the two parties from working on an extension in the next year or so.
Stanley, 25, was a first-round pick by the Ravens out of Notre Dame in 2016. He signed a four-year deal worth $20.84 million.
In 2018, Stanley started 15 games for the Ravens at left tackle. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 17 offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
