The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’ve signed HC John Harbaugh to an extension through the 2019 season.
- According to Adam Schefter, the Ravens actually tore up Harbaugh’s old deal.
The Ravens have missed the playoffs three of the four years, so this at least appears to be a vote of confidence from the team in their head coach.
Harbaugh, 54, was hired as the Ravens’ head coach in 2008. During his nine years with the team, Harbaugh has led them to a record of 85-59 (59 percent), which includes six playoff appearances and one Super Bowl championship in 2012.
