Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Ravens are placing the franchise tag to OLB Matthew Judon and the move should be official soon.
The Ravens have already confirmed the news:

The franchise tag for edge rushers is expected to be between $15.9-$17.9 million fully guaranteed for the 2020 season, depending on whether or not they’re considered a linebacker or defensive end.
Adam Schefter previously reported that Judon is a candidate to be franchised and traded to another team this offseason. The Ravens would reportedly like to re-sign Judon, but they’re expected to at least listen to trade offers from other teams.
Judon, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2016. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.595 million contract and is now in line to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2019, Judon appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 54 tackles, 9.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.
We had him included in our Top 100 – 2020 Free Agents list.
