According to Jamison Hensley, the Ravens hosted free-agent LB Vincent Rey for a visit on Tuesday.
Rey, 28, wound up signing on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in 2010. He spent his first year on the practice squad before later being called up towards the end of his rookie season.
The Bengals brought him back in an exclusive rights deal in 2012 and 2013 before signing him to a restricted contract in 2014.
In 2016, the Bengals re-signed Rey to a three-year contract worth $11 million. Rey was allowed to leave in free agency this offseason after playing out that deal.
In 2018, Rey appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and recorded 17 tackles, no sacks, no interceptions and no pass defenses. Rey’s primary role was on special teams.
