The Baltimore Ravens met Joe Flacco‘s agent on Sunday regarding a long-term contract extension for the quarterback, who will be entering the final year of his rookie deal.
“It was good to meet with (GM) Ozzie (Newsome) and (VP of administration) Pat (Moriarty) in person,” agent Joe Linta said, per Adam Caplan. “We’ll continue to get at this as we go along here.”
All signs point to a deal eventually getting done, but that is remains to be seen. The Ravens have a limited amount of cap space to work with, so it will be interesting to see Flacco’s contract is structured. We have him listed as the No. 8 best available free agent in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
