The Ravens have begun discussions with FB Patrick Ricard regarding a contract extension, according to Nick Underhill.
Ricard also pulls double duty for the Ravens, playing defensive tackle in addition to fullback.
Ricard, 25, signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Maine in 2017. He’s currently entering the final year of the three-year, $1.66 million contract he signed and is set to make a base salary of $645,000 in 2019.
In 2018, Ricard appeared in 10 games for the Ravens and did not record a stat on offense. He had four tackles on defense.
Pro Football Focus gave Ricard a grade of 61.1 on his 143 offensive snaps in 2018, which would have ranked fourth in the league if he’d played enough snaps to qualify.
