Smith is currently serving a four-game suspension.
In 2017, Smith has appeared in 12 games and recorded 28 tackles, three interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown and nine pass defenses.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 12 cornerback out of 114 qualifying players.
