Ravens Place DT Terrence Cody On PUP List

The Baltimore Ravens announced Friday that they have placed DT Terrence Cody on the active/physically unable to perform list.

Cody underwent an offseason hip surgery and is still working his way back to being 100 percent healthy.

The Ravens brought Cody back on a one-year deal, even though he found little reported interest on the open market.

“This is like a fresh start right now,” Cody said. “With the hip injury, I haven’t been able to grow as much lately. Now that I’m about to be healthy, I can be able to do things more on the field, instead of just being there as a first- and second-down guy.”

For what it’s worth, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com doesn’t project Cody make the team’s final 53-man roster this year.
