Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Ravens are placing TE Maxx Williams on injured reserve with a knee injury Friday.
This will cost Williams at least the next eight weeks of the season before the Ravens could activate him from injured reserve.
Williams, 22, is a former second-round pick of the Ravens back in 2015. Williams is currently in the second year of his four-year, $4.052 million contract and set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.
In 2016, Williams has been active for four games but has yet to record a single reception.
