Ravens Release DB Lardarius Webb

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Ravens are releasing veteran DB Lardarius Webb on Monday.

Webb said goodbye to Baltimore via his Twitter account Monday.

Webb, 32, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2009. He has spent his entire eight-year career with the Ravens and was entering the final year of his six-year, $52.742 million contract when the Ravens released him a move that freed up $5.5 million of available cap space last year.

The Ravens re-signed Webb to a three-year, $5.1 million contract last April and he was set to make a base salary of $2.15 million for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Webb appeared in all 16 games and recorded 39 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, a forced fumble and four pass defenses.
