Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Ravens and DT Brandon Williams recently agreed to a reworked contracted that includes $8.25 million guaranteed with a base value of $15.75 million over the next two years.
According to Yates, Williams was previously due $19 million over the next two years without any guaranteed money.
The Ravens will gain $3 million of cap space following this move.
Williams, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $2,675,000 rookie contract before returning to Baltimore on a five-year, $52.5 million contract that included $24.5 million guaranteed in 2017.
Williams stands to make base salaries of $9.25 million and $9.5 million over the final two years of the contract.
In 2019, Williams recorded 34 tackles, one sack and a fumble recovery.
