The Ravens announced on Thursday they have signed DE Ufomba Kamalu to the practice squad and released OT Marcus Applefield to make room.
Here’s an updated look at Baltimore’s practice squad:
- TE Charles Scarff
- G/T R.J. Prince
- WR Antoine Wesley
- OLB Aaron Adeoye
- RB Christopher Ezeala (International)
- DB Terrell Bonds
- G Parker Ehinger
- DB Denzel Rice (Injured)
- LB Demone Harris
- DE Michael Onuoha
- RB Byron Marshall
- DE Ufomba Kamalu
Kamalu, 26, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2016. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was later signed on to Houston’s practice squad before eventually being called up in November.
The Texans re-signed Kamalu to an exclusive rights contract last year but he was once again among their final roster cuts. After a brief stint with the Cardinals, Kamalu was signed to the Patriots’ practice squad before being signed to Baltimore’s active roster in October.
The Ravens waived Kamalu earlier this week.
For his career, Ufomba has appeared in 15 games and recorded 12 tackles and three sacks.
