Ravens Sign QB David Olson

Damond Talbot of NFL Draft Diamonds reports that the Ravens have signed QB David Olson, who recently played with Kansas City Phantoms of the Champions Indoor Football League, to a contract on Thursday.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh told reporters that they were looking to add a quarterback after Joe Flacco suffered a back injury and there has been talk that Colin Kaepernick could be an option for them. However, it appears as though they preferred to go a different route.

Ian Rapoport points out that Olson played for Jim Harbaugh at Stanford and he gave Olson a good review to John.

During his college career at Clemson, Olson appeared in two games and completed one of three passing attempts for -1 yards during the 2014 season.
