Jason Cole of B/R is hearing that the Ravens are a “strong contender” for Rams free agent S Rodney McLeod.
McLeod, 25, wound up signing on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia back in 2012. He’s played out his rookie contract and is now in position to be one of the best available safeties in this year’s free agent class.
In 2015, McLeod appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and recorded 81 tackles, one interception, three forced fumbles, one recovery returned for a touchdown, and five pass defenses.
