Ravens HC John Harbaugh announced Tuesday thatย TE Crockett Gillmore underwent surgery to repair his MCL repaired and is likely going to miss the 2017 season, as his recovery time is expected to be 5 months.
The Ravens will likely place him on injured reserve in the coming days.
Gillmore, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2014. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.906 million contract and set to make a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.
In 2016, Gillmore appeared in seven games and caught eight passes for 71 yards receiving and one touchdown.
